This is the Washington State Library collection of the Voices of Washington State slide/tape collection. It consists of approximately 28 sound cassettes, 4 videotapes and 7 slide/tape programs. There are 7 slide/cassette programs with slide carousels of approximately 580 slides with a sound cassettes and transcripts for the programs. The slide/tape programs were designed for use in a cassette recorder/single slide projector interlocking system. The writer, producer, narrator and series editor was Judith Espinola. It was produced by the Metrocenter YMCA in Seattle, WA with funds from the Washington Commission for the Humanities. There is a set of discussion guides that is also available for the series.

Maud P. Mitchell was born about 1883 in Oregon. She married Chas. R. Mitchell and by 1920 they were living in Chehalis, WA. Charles was an assistant cashier at the bank. Charles had become a banker by 1930. Between 1957 & 1958 Charles passed away. And Maud passed away on 29 May 1960 in Chehalis, WA.
